Students and families can access it at any time and leave comments on the document. I think only I will have editing priviledges and will post updates about in-class progress periodically.

Students will add comments as "proof" of their learning. I hope that they will also link to their work on their ALPs.

Totally a work in progress, but hopefully they'll help me with IEP writing, progress and report cards and keep parent meetings and Student Led Conferences on track and moving forwards by collaboratively setting goals and acting on them.

ShaunaShauna Pollockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13853791710208137251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-956552811464270136.post-61449256152778403372014-09-15T19:06:34.761-07:002014-09-15T19:06:34.761-07:00Hey Tiiu,

I do know that I'd like to meet with each student and his or her parents at least twice (hopefully three times) in the school year. I think I'll share the ALP template with them and we'll all fill it out together. I was wondering about your Annual Learning Plan with students and parents. How are you going to create it? How will they contribute? When will they update it? I would love to hear more about this -- sounds very interesting! I think your Annual Learning Plan is going to be transformative and I'm excited to work on it with you. How structured are you planning on being with your one to one meetings? So great that your staff created a writing continuum so important and great to refer to for students. I always have wanted to create a French writing continuum I try and keep students' work from previous years . Co-creating the criteria is a very authentic and important step in order for students to self and peer assess. Your students work with you on a true authentic assessment as for learning process.
